| For those stuck in NC over 180 days... |

bc2001, Snowflake made it clear that they had not received this letter. The IIO showed them a copy of one.
I have to express some scepticism about the reality of this letter as my understanding of the process is that the Adjudicating officer has to compete adjudication of your case and allocate a Visa number before the case can be approved. The process steps after that is done i n the case system are pretty automatic. Why would they introduce a new "pending congratulations" letter with the opportunity to get stamped when the case status updates and emails are automatic and actual card production takes less than 3 weeks.
In addition Snowflake is the only person to have had sight of a COPY of this letter during an infopass far less receive one. If this was to be SOP for the NC180 cases, I would have expected some folks to have rceieved this or AILA to have briefed their attorney members that this was coming.
It would be a hopeful sign of better customer service but flies in the face of all our experiences with USCIS during this process. Personally I'd rather see some more case approvals this week. It is 7:15pm EDT and there has only been one Trackitt approval posted.....depressing after such good progress over the last 2 weeks...:( |
