I totally agree with you Roger that we have to be nice in writing about the officials at the USCIS office. I just do not agree with the discrimination laws of per country quota and some of the operating procedures at the USCIS office. We can not blame them as they are just following some of the unjust laws and directives given to them. I fail to understand that one official is lenient in processing the application and the other is very strict. Probably human nature differs from person to person.
It is true that they are receiving over a million applications and it is difficult to imagine how they are storing all these applications. As I am learning daily that they are doing their best to stream line their procedure of processing these applications.
Also I cannot understand when some one has been in this country legally for 8 to 10 years; he has to still undergo this pain of Green Card. To me the U.S. government should just hand over the Green Card to such person as they are as good as being the citizen of this country.
I am not perfect and I do make mistakes in life. In the same way I cannot expect the officials at USCIS to be perfect. I just want to end with a saying of a great Indian person.
“I searched for the crooked, met not a single one
When I searched myself, I found the crooked one”
