| Advice needed for canadian visa |

I am currently in the US and my green card application is in the process of being denied. Meanwhile I have been in touch with a few canadian companies and they want me to come to canada for interviews.
My question is should i apply showing the intent to simply visit canada or actually on the basis of the interview invitation letters from the those companies and let them know my intent to work in canada.
