Well you are getting the green card based on the employment/employer you work for. You still need
to meet those conditions/terms of employment. While you own it, employer has lot of control over
it and infact generally speaking once you get the green card it is advised that you do not leave the employer
within 6 months (better 1 year).

I think there is fundamental difference here, it is almost like a open job position, you should not be
discriminated based on race, color, religion ...etc

To take care of diversity that is why they have the green card lottery system, India is not part of that.
