Well, u can apply for EC uptil 17Jul 2008.
As ur wife is coming with u, u must have 2800 + 1600 (wife as dependant). This is the maintenance reqmnt for ur case.
So u shud note that and as far as possible, show the most funds available, aslo u may be having fixed deposits. Can add that with a letter from the bank that u can withdraw them any time, which becomes liquid fund and may be used for maintenance purposes.
Now take a pen and paper and see for the last three months, do ur funds add upto 4400 pounds? If u have patience and do not want to take chances, you shud wait till u have the balance for the last 3 months. Just a view.
