Hi Superhero,
On the EAD, I don't have any real detail but have seen a few postings mentioning applying for EAD and then getting GC. It seems that they will continue processing the EAD right up to the point that the GC is approved and production of the card ordered. What this means is that the check for the EAD will be cashed and you will not get the money back as they have had to do the initial processing. Obviously, if you do get your GC either before or after you get the new EAD then the EAD becomes invalid and your status becomes tied to your GC.
I go in for additional fingerprints on Thursday 26th and will get Infopass at the same time, but don't expect to find out anything new. Similar to you my last fingerprinting appointment was back in December (6 months ago) so they are obviously disconnected in what they believe (my appointment letter states 15 months since my last fingerprints). |
