I was reading one post in which a trackitt member pointed out that someone got approved and his/her PD wasn't current.
I checked the original post and there is an URL given by other member.

Now, I have my doubts if we (EB3) may be approved or not being the VB unavailable to all of us.
As per Murthy,
" I-485s cannot be approved unless an immigrant visa number is immediately available in the specific category. "
"In the green card scenario, there is a risk that the USCIS may seek to rescind the wrongfully granted green card if and when they discover the mistake, or, even worse, may seek removal action against the individual. It could also create a problem for future cases for family members or when applying for naturalization to become a U.S. citizen, even if the USCIS opts not to take action against the individual before that time."
Therefore, even if we see an EB3 approval in July-August-September, or better, we got the approval notice in that period of time, we must be very cautious and find out if the case was approved in error by the USCIS, or previously approved when the priority date was still current. OMG!!! |
