| That's correct. When we applied, my wife was in England, but moved here prior to attaining PR approval. CIC doesn't tell you that you don't HAVE to be separate from your spouse (he/she still living in their home nation) in order to apply via the outside method. The spouse can be with you in Canada. There are definite advantages to doing it this way. |
