Then you entered as a "Parolee" (term used for a person that uses his/her AP) pending permanent residence.
The EAD does not give you any immigration status. It just allows you to work.
Any person that has filed for adjustment of status (I-485) and is waiting for a decision is a "Pending Permanent Resident Applicant". And this is a legal immigration status. |
