It can happen quickly! My timeline...
Thanks for the reply. After making some other consultations, it is now less likely that we will apply for a TRV for my wife, as even if she is granted one (and that is a huge, improbable IF!), the uncertainty of the timeline of her PRV application doesn't really make such a move practical. It would also be more expensive (more int'l flights, etc.)

Our frustration just comes from the uncertain timeline for her application. If there was a specific date we could look forward to, it would make the waiting a little less stressful! I know this is normal, but it doesn't make it any easier to accept.
