Canada PR vs UK HSMP
Thats a vague question, better how? HSMP is a visa that you can eventually get UK PR and then citizenship on. HSMP itself is not a PR. Also, there is is a proposal that would increase the timeline to UK citizenship from 6 years to up to 8 years. That is, you would need to be in the country for up to 8 years, before you can apply for citizenship. This versus 3 years for Canada.

However, you may have other reasons to consider one over the other. Do you have a job in one of the countries, do you have family that you want to be close to in one of the countries. If so, perhaps thats a better country for you.
