why should it take an avergae of 10 months to be re-untied with your spouse?
you right... No spouses should have to wait that long. They should be given a temp. visa and allow them to stay here with the spouse till the time of interview. It's not like Canada has to pay anything for them while they are staying here and while their papers are being process. We have to do anything for them when they come here and we took that oath. In all I say, Canada doesn't re-unite families, but separates them. Shame on Canada. It's nice to have dual citizen passports. I have been waiting for my wife since Jan 2007. Gave them my court and church marriage certificates and all documents they wanted. Wife is on the interview list since May 21 2007 with no updates and they won't even asnwer question when asked.
