Thanks catatemyhw, i thought so too. it's funny how we wait YEARS for the approval email but can't wait few days for the card to come in the mail. more than 42000 visited this thread. helps to know that we are not alone in this anexity.
I know it's premature but I was reading about the naturalization process and couldn't help but feel discrimination when they give it to GC holders through marriage in only 3 years but we have to wait 5 years for that??????? I can see in active military you get it sooner, logic. but why the heck should a GC holder via marriage be treated different than us. I bet if thousands of us hired a lawyer to sue USCIS for that they'll change it. Think about it, and if you agree with me, let's start a thread for that, collect people and do it. |
