| I am also stuck in name check hell. Now, it is nearly seven months stuck in name check. I have written to senators and congressman in my state, to the FBI, and the ombudsman, but no word from anyone. I recently met an immigration lawyer, who is also a law professor. He told none of these will have any impact and they will just send me stock letter. Another immigrant professor told me the story of Indian architect stuck in NC for 4 years because he had travelled to sensitive countries. I have basically given up at this stage. The frequency with which I visit this website and the uscis website has declined. Just working and hoping to stay afloat thats all. |
