| In my case the credit card was charged about a month after sending the request, and I got the results about 1 1/2 months after that, so it's difficult to tell whether the credit card processing is done at the beginning or the end. They *do* attempt to get it done by the date you specify, within reason, and you were correct in writing this on the envelope (see http://www.fbi.gov/hq/cjisd/cover_letter.pdf). In my case they came very close to when I wanted it, but then I'd given them several weeks. Since I'm sure there is a minimum amount of time to get it done, I would not expect yours back until early December. |
