I just got an inverview notice, there are a couple of things I noticed in my inteview notice
1 - The interview notice says "Request for applicant to appear for initial interview".Is this common does any one else have this on their notice or have I been picked up for a series of interview :( [The "Initial interview" is what I am referring to]
2 - The PD and the RD both show the same date i.e the recipt date. The RD for me is june 26 07 and the PD is March 24 04, and as I mentioned the PD is showing incorrectly has any one also observed this on their notice ?
I have the interview in SF, any one is attending/ attended an interview in SF ?

the date issue has been seen in many cases (including mine).
Initial interview purpose is to 'complete' your application package to ensure you are eligible for further processing.

Hi siliverskies, I am in the same boat as u..me and my husband who is principal applicant got the same letter yesterday.The interview is schedules on Aug 3'09. Even our priority dates were wrong.Our is 2005 instead they have written aug 2007.
My question is why r we getting interview,is there anything wrong with our 485 filing

Hi , This is to make sure everything is complete for 485 processing(approval)when pd becomes current .A good sign though as they ask for anything missing in your app. I guess you had this interview today how was it ? could you also share your actual Priority Date , Receipt Date & Notice date thanks

And Also the Employment Category this has been filed . I am asking may be they might try to bring PD close to somewhere in 2005 in September bulletin
