=================
How to check Internal id:
=================

Step 1: Go to https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ... and input your case number.
Step 2: If the result comes back and status says 'Certified', Congratulations you are approved

If not, read further:

Step 3: Let's say your case number is A-17001-12345, try to do search using Step 1 url by giving 'A-17001-123'
Step 4: There should be some cases that are certified, lets say the first row in the result shows A-17001-12344
Step 5: Click on the HTML icon that appears in the last column 'Cert'. It will redirect you to something like https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ...
Step 6: Since from step 4 you found that the case that was approved was 1 number less then yours, edit the link in Step 5 to add 1 in the very end. i.e: https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ...

If the difference between Step 4 and your case number is a negative value, subtract the Step 5 url in the very end instead of adding.

Now, if the HTML page (which is the actual PERM) shows all blank i.e. without any data filled in, it means your case your is still NOT processed.

I just tested this method and my case number is not processed yet. I don't know if just by editing the url will give correct result or not but according to fellow folks in this forum, this method of testing is proven especially to test Audit and Denied cases since Step 1 or PermChecker.com doesn't show Audited and Denied cases as they are not publicly available data except for your attorney and employer.

Hope this is clear.

=====================================
How to check cases processed using DOL website:
=====================================

After 10:30 pm Eastern, Monday - Friday, DOL system gets updated with all the PERM cases processed for the day.
Outlining the steps below on how to...:

Search for a given day's cases:
Step 1: Go to https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ...
Step 2: Select "PERM" from "Case Type" drop down
Step 3: Select current day or desired day in "From" and "To" in the "Start Date Range" (this means we are asking the system to search for cases from the desired day.
Step 4: Select the CAPTCHA
Step 5: Click "Search" button

Search for a case:
Repeat Step 1 and 2
Step 3: Input the case number that starts with "A" in the "ETA Case Number" field
Step 4: Select "From" in the "Start Date Range" as any day after the priority date
Step 5: Select "To" as TODAY in the "Start Date Range"
Step 6: Select the CAPTCHA
Step 7: Click "Search" button

The above steps can be followed to search based on employer name, state, end date, etc by filling the appropriate fields.

And to know how people say its a Aug case or Sept case, etc is by calculating the 3 digit day in a given case number.

We can use this website to say what day the case number was generated (please note this date in most cases is different than the actual filing date which is called PD - priority date):
http://www.workingdays.us
Just set the start date as Jan 1 and end date as Dec 31 of the desired year and in the "calendar" table, make sure to select "days" - so for eg: Sep 1 2017 cases would start with A-17244-XXXXX

Hope this makes little sense!

This is a good thread. It should be pinned at the top somewhere so easily accessible.

This is a great thread. Probably needs to be a sticky on the forums. :)

BTW, I checked my case number. The form appears blank so seems like its not yet picked up :(
Hoping for the best. Lets see.

Which one are you talking about? Internal id site or regular perm site? The latter works for me. May be you were caught in the time frame where the system was in the process of uploading data.

On clicking the first link, I am always seeing the exception so not sure if this requires any specific access to check the case details. Let me know if you were able to see it. I looked it for last one week and never it worked.

This doesn't work for me. Here is the link to the blank internal id page:

https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ...

I see it is totally blank but yes/no questions under "H. Job Opportunity Information (Where work will be performed)" section all say "No" in this particular internal id page. But I know for sure that my job required experience and it should be checked as yes which makes me believe that its not my internal id even though I calculated it using your method.

Can you help me if I missed something??

If you do not see the Alien info or other information most likely DOL has not certified it yet.
Let us hope they do it soon.

Jan 2018 case? Its too early to track it :)
Let us wait till they move to at least Dec 2017 cases so that we can just add 30 or 31 to it.
All the best!

I get your point but I was specifically talking for the section H yes/No questions and based on the calculated internal page, these yes/No answer are different than what actual application shows. Here is my case# A-17163-49808 , can you please calculate to check and see if link I posted above is my internal page or not based on your instructions??

https://lcr-pjr.doleta.gov/index.cfm?event=ehLCJ...
as per my calculation. And to answer why section H etc are marked irrelevant, I don't know.
Please download the disclosure data and search for your case and see the status.
Link to download disclosure data: https://www.foreignlaborcert.doleta.gov/performa...

Go to "Disclosure Data" tab and download PERM_FY2018.xlsx and PERM_FY2017.xlsx to see if they are updated.
