I have applied my PERM on May 8 th 2008 and my H1 expired on Feb 15th 2009. As my PERM was not applied before 1 year, I had to go back to India and waited for 3 months. I got my H1 extension for 1 more year and I have returned back now to USA.
I have already completed 13 months on my PERM processing and there were no audits till now. Any Idea what would be the best approach to take now to get this PERM case moving.

- Can you let me know how you were able to get an extension even though your PERM was not applied before 1 year?
- It is almost 1 year before my H1-B expires and it does not look like my PERM will be filed before the one year mark. My I-140 may or may not be approved within that one year period. What are my options here?
