Hello Friends,

I have been working for INDIA based MNC for last 2 years (Deputed from INDIA). I am interested to switch my current job and I prefer Full Time Employment (FTE) because I need to get transfer to INDIA after my H1B 6 years completion. In this case, I am interested to apply job in cognizant because I heard cognizant can transfer me to INDIA after my H1B 6 years completion. is cognizant still sponsoring for H1B transfer now a days? Did anyone recently join to cognizant with H1B transfer (as FTE in USA recruit) ? or can I prefer any other INDIA based MNC for getting transfer after my H1B 6 years completion? Your guidance would be really helpful to me.

to BROWNEE:

Yes they do. Just make sure that they are ok to absorb you in India. Because in US you are their US employee.

to BROWNEE:

NO, they are not. They prefer deputing their staff from India because they are not processing gc for now. If they hire H1 from US they are bound to process gc, which becomes a conflict with their current H1 employees deputed from India.
Also they are focusing more on hiring GC & citizens as all companies are in immense pressure to increase local hiring.
You can try but. Good Luck.
