Hi All,
I have one question about H1B Extension, need opinion from experts and seniors based on your experience.
I had applied my H1B second extension on Dec 10 and I received receipt on Dec 18th 2017, H1B (Still i have 18 months to complete 6 Years), My H1B is going to expire on May 28 2018, Still I didn’t get anything from USCIS, is good idea to applied now premium process? Or do you want me to wait?
Thank you.

I do not think Premium processing is available right now.
You have no other option but to wait.

to stopit:
Premium processing is available for all the cap exempt applications. It's not available only for the new applications (cap).

These days attorneys are advising against Premium as there is increased risk of RFE/Denials with it. But its up to you my suggestion is go for it you will have peace of mind. if you do that now Just in case you get a denial you will have enough time before your existing H1 expires to re file for extension. But it gives peace of mind if its approved.
Also what is your Wage level, Soc code ,employment model etc? Level 1, Analyst roles etc are getting more denials lately think of these as well .... but again will they approve if you don't do premium with these ?? may be may be not ....

Hi Zoneman,
Thanks for response and suggestion.

to ZONEMAN:
Premium and non-premium processing makes no difference on final outcome. Personally I prefer premium as it reduces anxiety and also USCIS has become painfully slow so any delay on your part in filling H1B extn may result in a situation where you are not eligible to work and you may need to leave country.

Once H1 is approved in regular processing . In how many days employer gets the approval copy. Mine approved on 11 apr.
