Update on my missing AP, and this one is something I have never seen before. I opened a SR on January 21. USCIS responded on Friday, claiming they sent me a combo card, but what I received was an EAD only (they even gave me a tracking number, which was the one for my EAD card). My lawyer is investigating.

After creating two SRs with USCIS, finally they mailed my AP to my address. They change my case status to "Reopen and reconsider it" and after two days I got the AP letter. Good luck

I submit an renewal of my EAD/AP combo card on sep and it got approved on dec 26 as per USCIS and delivered to me on
dec 29. I do not received the card and as per uscis wait 1 month to raise SR. I received a response saying it was delivered on time and gave the tracking no. i follow up with postoffice and not able to find my lost priority mail. i have to apply again . since it is combo card i have to pay $410 for EAD and $575 for AP.Did you apply for replacement card without paying the fees?

Hello jShawn,

How do you know if your AP has been approved if you did not receive the approval notice or AP document? MY case status says, received on December 27th 2017. I want to find out if it has been approved. Let me know.
Thanks

After a long wait not very good news. My wife got notice that I765 approved but I131 denied. Is it because she is travelling right now? Will it create problems for her travel as she is out of country but will be coming back soon?

Hi All,

I had re-file my i-131 (Advanced parole) due to missing approval document.

I have filed my i-131 renewal in Oct 1st week. I got the approval notice(797) on Dec 5th stating it is approved and approval document will follow in the mail.

I did not get the approval document even after 2 weeks, i called back USCIS and created a SR, got response with in a week stating that they mailed it 2 weeks back and in case of lost, i have to re-file or show the proof that the document was lost in the mail.

I created online request in USPS for search, after a month USPS confirmed that document is not traceable so i sent this email to USCIS as a proof, and USCIS responded back saying i have to re-file again.

I did re-file a week back(without fees as I never pay fees for ap/ead renewals) and I got SMS text that the i-131 application received.

I have travel plans in June 2nd week, not sure I am going to get before that time.

is anybody have recommendations to get the approval fast or get old approval document?

I am also facing same issue as like you. I have filed 131 in Aug and they changed the status in Nov as it is transferred to another location and mentioned i will be receiving the documents. But i havent received documents. I have raised SR 2 times and they are asking me to refile again which will take another 6 months. when i was checking with USCIS customer care, they are saying the travel document is still not issued. its really confusing..

Received the RFE letter today for Kids (i131) -

"Please submit a photocopy of a government-issued identity document, such as a passport showing your picture, name, and date of birth certificate with photo id; a visa issued by a foreign consulate; or a national id document with photo and fingerprint".

I already submitted passport, visa and birth certificate as part of 485 bundle. Not sure what exactly they are looking for. Please let me know if you have any suggestion.
