Per DHS website they are producing cards for both applicants. USCIS website case status still has not updated for dependent. Not sure if there is a delay.

Has this happened to anyone else where one has the status updated and other does not.

Got this today

My Priority date is Dec.13, 2006
RFE 27 Dec 2017
Responded to RFE 23 rd Mar 2018

Received an email yesterday.

transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators. If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. Please follow the instructions on your appointment notice if you need to reschedule. Occasionally, you may receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints taken when you have filed a form other than those listed above. In these situations, you may receive your appointment notice more than 30 days after submitting your application or petition.

Hello Experts,

I know its i485 forum but posting my query here since you all filed in EB3.

I've gone through some forums but still unable to figure out whats the different in EB3 Professional & EB2

* Both need U.S. baccalaureate degree or foreign degree equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree related to the occupation, and that this baccalaureate degree is the normal requirement for entry into the occupation. I believe when they say baccalaureate degree its 4 years.
* Both - experience/training may not be substituted for a baccalaureate degree.

Some say's if the PERM/Labor has the below magic words would qualify for EB3 professional, some says no..

"Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience as documented by a credentials evaluation service will be accepted."

Can some one please shred some light here?

Yesterday the DHS website had the status "We are producing your card and will mail it to you" for both primary and dependent applicants. Today AM i got another message and the status says "We approved your case. Read the notice we mailed you for more information".

What does this mean? Is this it just a receipt of approval? Any insights provided is much appreciated.

@JK2510 - yes please add my details, thank you.

Update - DHS site was updated with below today

We are producing your card and will mail it to you
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will mail ....

Question: any idea how long normally it takes for the dependent case to be CPO/approve?
