Hi Nexus5,

Do you , your wife and your kid have the same interview schedule ( same hour) ?
Ours is 3 different hours, 10am(daughter), 12noon(husband) and 1pm(primary) , i am a worried where will we leave our daughter when its my husband's interview schedule(i would need to accompany him at this time).

Does it say room number? Our schedules were one after the other consecutive time slots, so
we were called together as a family at the same time. Each time slot is 45 mins.

If all your interview letters mention the same room number then it is likely that it is going
to be handled by the same officer and you will be called together as a family. Of course, I am
assuming that you are EB based. If it is marriage based, then they may interview husband
and wife separately.

To those who already went to the interview in San Francisco: Where is the entrance to the building in which the interviews are held - is it on the Sansome or Washington side?

No it did not say room number. Did your interview notice have room number?
Example your schedule is 10am, 1045am and 1130am. Were you allowed to get inside USCIS office even though you are more than an hour earlier than scheduled?
Yes we are EB Based.

Yes you are correct . Our schedules looked like that. Our interview
letters mentioned room number and it was same for all of us.

I do not think they check the schedule if you enter as family but i may be wrong
as it was not applicable in our case. at least one of you should time slot
closer to the current time

My interview was at SJ not at SF

Hi geotv,

I have the similar status as you F1 to CPT to GC, no H1B too.
Can you share your interview experience? What questions and what documents were asked?

Hi Dban,

Did you have your interview in SFO?
Is your baby also your I485 dependent thats why you needed to bring the baby ? Or she is born here but you just needed to bring her?
My baby(15months) is born here (US citizen) and I am just checking if its really possibly to bring her to the interview.

Hi freeJLEL,

It was a quick 20 minute interview. In line with other interview experiences posted here. Mostly questions were directed to my wife regarding marriage. IO updated information on the documents and that is it. Got the card in the mail after a week. To be honest i felt its just a formality to appear in person for the interview. NO documents was requested from me other than passport and government issued ID.

Best of luck for your interview!
