Oye ashish well done! As per your experience sab badiya lag raha hai....yeh quota and all to bus kahani hai bc...EB1C ka quota kabhi khatam nahi hoga...Bus yeh batade tu H1B se EB1C mein kaise aaya? Thoda bhaiyon ka bhi bhala kar de yaar.

I had my interview on Feb 8th. It was scheduled for 7:15 AM. I parked on 270 Mulberry (paid 15$). I reached there 6:45AM and waited outside until 7:00. after security check we went in and waited for OI to call. I was 7th person (I saw 7 OI all were different people so at least there are 7 working there), he called me at 7:55 we went to a room to take photo and finger print then we went to room he asked for auth then he gave me a paper to sign that my lawyer is not accompanying me. He asked for couple of my documents like birth certificate, EVL, new and old passport. Then he asked 485 questions. then he took copies from passports and said I will be updated pretty soon between 4-6 week. I was out at 8:20. website was updated that my case was approved on Feb 12th which is yesterday.
Interview for me was very easy and no tough question at all. I think my interview was very short since I am single.
Good luck every one.

Good luck Ashish! Hope you get your cards soon!

Why did the IO say about Immigrant visa availability? Last year it retrogressed only on Jun 2017. Are they expecting retrogression sooner? That is very scary!

Thank you!

IO comment around Immigrant visa availability was very generic but more from setting up expectation! Per IO, she still expects everything to be current but just in case my needs some additional processing and takes couple of months to resolve - then Visa availability may change and my case will be send back to Texas center to wait till it becomes current again

I would say not to worry as long as you expect you case to be approved in next 3-4 months! Fingers crossed and all the best

Had my interview on 2/7. It seemed smooth.

Parked at 270 Mulberry St. Thanks to those who pointed this out. This is the closest parking lot I think.
Checked in with attorney at xx:00 . Interview was at xx:15 and got called in with spouse and kids around xx:45.

Oath followed by pics and fingerprints.
IO asked for originals of passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate.
He asked when I last entered the US and first entry. Asked about change in status from F1 to H1. Went over the I-797s and I-20 to make sure I was always in status.
Asked job duties. Took EVL and a pay stub.
Asked wife about first and last entry to US.
Went over security questions in 485 for me and spouse.

In the end he said, he will review and will contact if anything is needed. When I asked him for a timeline he said if we don't hear anything in 4 months we should contact USCIS. I was a little worried after hearing this.

2/9 My status changed to New Card is Being Produced
2/12 Status changed to Case was approved.
2/14 Card was Mailed.

Received approval notice in mail and now waiting for the card.

My spouse's status has not changed and nothing in the mail either. Wonder why hers is being held. I wanted to travel next month and really hope they don't leave us hanging.
Anyone else have a situation where dependent case was not approved along with primary?

I had my interview on Feb 6, I handed Supplement J during the interview.
Officer says she can`t make a decision until supplement J is receipted in original office (NBC)
Today I receive a notice the Supplement J has been received in NBC (The one that says fee waived and form is received).
I wonder if Officer will process this soon. Anyone had similar experience ?

As expected nothing came out of the info pass. The only thing that I got to know that the IO has 120 days to decide on the case.

The infopass personnel told me that there is no need to take infopass and come in person. It is better to raise an SR and save your self travelling time. It looks like my case is still with the IO in Newark and they need time to review. Also, it seems coming to an info pass within 60 days is too early :-)

Congratulations!
Is I-864 required for primary or dependent during interview? I heard interview letter including it with comments if applicable. Not sure if it really applicable to EB1 primary or dependent.

Thank you! I dont think i864 is required for Employment based interviews unless your employer is your relative and owns more than 5% of that entity!

I was not asked for this document during my interview! Also see this post i posted last week and it also confirms the same i posted above http://www.trackitt.com/usa-discussion-forums/i...

All the best!
