At this rate, EB2 India will reach 2010 in about 2023.

It took 8 years for it to clear 2008. 2009 has 5-6 times the pending PI compared to 2008. Unless there's good SO, 2010 looks more likely by 2028.. cant imagine the plight of people beyond that.

It didn't take 8 years to clear 2008. The PD has reached 2011 for a few months in 2012 I think.
It retrogressed after that.

to greencard2040:

those were the "lets assume we will get VISAS and move date forward XX months or YY years" of USCIS. I think those days are over - it looks more and more like CO is happy to move dates based on actual PI rather than retrogress (which means at the 2009 PI rate could be 1 week per VB at best or may months of pause).

Also, to be literal, 2018-2008=10 (its actually 10 years for 2008 to clear in absolute terms). Its sad to put it but I really hope SO comes in to nuke these awful stats..

Hello,

Finally, my dates are current :) PD - 12/13/08 (EB2I) - I have received an RFE email notification on I485. Do you guys have any idea what it could be? I am just curious and excited to know before the physical copy hits my mailbox.

Any knowledge sharing is much appreciated and reduces my stress levels.

Thanks, all in advance

Best,
Sam.

May I know when you filed I-485. I believe this could be just medicals. Please share the RFE once you received.

I filed my I-485 in Nov 2016. My medicals were done in Oct 2016. I always thought medicals are valid for 2 years.

Can you please update your profile? What is your service center?
