I would predict EB2I to clear 2009 by end of next year. The only ready inventory available for Charlie is pending EB2I people, who do not need to go for interview and hence can be approved of GC in 2 months time.

Gurus i see that the uscis may visa bulletin has filing date for eb2 in apr 2009. This means folks in apr 2009 can file for ead’s roght??(unless they already filed last time) is this good news now that the filing date moved??

No for Filing Date your need to follow the USCIS bulletin shown in the link below which says Dec 22 2008 unfortunately.

Folks, let's all join hands and write a memo to CO or USCIS. We can suggest CO to consider and award majority of the spillover to EB2I as it doesn't require visa interview.

Instead of keeping other categories current or advancing dates for other nations and increasing the workload on USCIS officials for interview (which may not happen before FY ends), it's better to divert the visas to EB2I.

We have to somehow voice this suggestion. If you think the same, let's get the ball rolling and see how we can make it happen

As much as your intention is ideal, could this be counterproductive? Maybe we don't want to be seen influencing decisions.

When can we anticipate the EB2-I 2009 RFEs to start coming through? Any thoughts?

Thanks for some of few users who are talking very common sense action items for EB2-I and EB3-I data moves than asking "when will I be current". If we dont do administrative lobbying now, we are back to square one like last few years where EB2 & 3 (India) losing their fair share of 4-6k GC. I guess influential trackitters User Id of Anirban of SIAA i guess is "kamakazee" with PD of Feb 2009 can take leadership and help community. There are many other users possibly can take leadership and will be a collective effort.

Let me share my thoughts, I hope it will make sense as I am giving reason based on factual data.

So today(4/18/2018) User:Spectator has updated 2018 Q2 PERM data in qesehmk.org

http://www.qesehmk.org/forums/showthread.php/50...
http://www.qesehmk.org/forums/attachment.php?at...

To access above links need to login in qesehmk.org.
If any one wants to deep dive and get into holy grail of predication, please note predication is no rocket science, its simple statistics, just follow the library qesehmk.org and track the gurus like Spectator, qesehmk, Teddy, Matt, zzzzz and many other. Some of them have trackitt ID' as well but not always active.
Aceman, chandran and few other in recent times in trackitt also are contributing well but they are getting stuck and being dragged by question and discussions with trolls and "ASKHOLES" who once in while wake up and ask "when will data xyz be current"

Based on my analysis on latest data above published, EB2-I have fair chance to get reasonable spill over provided we trackitters need to give a push than asking "when will data xyz become current"

PERM Demand is continuing falling trend in 2017 and 2018, not just for ROW and also for countries Phillipine, Mexico and India. Which means more spillover/unused GC allocation can happen for India, but which category is the million dollar question?

However there are many pessimistic takers and certain folks are concerned that CO might allocate to EB1-I like last 3 years where EB3/2-I lost 3-4k GC each year to EB1-I. 4K GC loss per year might sound small number for most people but makes overall India wait time painfully slow. Had we got eligible spill over for EB3 and EB2 in 2015,16 and 17, India EB2 & 3 could have been in 2010 now.

If deserved horizontal spill happens, EB2-I can get reasonable spillover and EB2-I final action dates can reach up July/August 2009.Also CO then have to move EB3-I, guess demand in that category is low, probably CO is observing how last 2 months of new EB3-I filings are happening. Most EB2-I in 2009 have already filed 485, so I guess CO need issue soon RFE's for medicals inorder to process the spill overs GC numbers in Q4(July-Sep 2018).

At this point EB2-I spillover and merge EB3-I near to EB2-I date will be with CO's mercy if we continue to keep quiet.
Note: CO is Dept Of State designated person Charlie Oppenheim who releases Visa Bulletin every month.

If all EB2-I who already filed 485 put pressure on their attorneys,AILA and
organizations can get involved to do some administrative lobbying it might help.
Most desi's are concerned about will he/she get GC, but need to realize that if the queue is in-front not able to get in, they themselves cant get into the train,
so like they do in Japan , EB2/3-I folks 2010 and 2011 need to give a push.

Every single person who did not prevent the instigators from convincing good minded people send email to H1B abuse for perceived EB1C abuse is responsible for the interviews and H1 renewal scrutiny. You did not use the voice when it was really needed. Now please let the departments do their job and stop proposing ideas which can make things worse.
