We got our (mine and wife's) cards on 11/24/2008. We are still waiting for my son's (8 yrs). His status is saying approved along with ours. He got a welcome notice in mail along with ours. Do we need to do something to get his?
Experts, please advise.

Congrats again, first of all. Now, you have got to stop worrying about this. Sometimes they get separated and in my heart I think this is what has happened. You have proof that he has been approved so call the 1-800 # and be very nice but show concern that his card hasn't arrived and ask for help to be raised to an IO for indepth conversation regarding this very stressful situation you feel you are in. See how this helps you out. You can check the address and everything with them. I am sure they will put your mind at ease.

Did you get the "Card Production Ordered" notification for your son ? If you did not, it is likely that they forgot to do that. I would suggest calling the 1-800 number and following the instructions to get in touch with an Immigration Officer and tell him/her about the situation. For a friend of mine, they had forgotten to do the card production ordered stuff for both himself and his wife. After contacting the IO, they initiated it and he received the card in 4 days. No point contacting the customer service people.

Dial the number again and follow the prompts then there should be one for either card or receipt is wrong or do the change of address button. When you get through say you needed to speak to an IO and was waiting to do so and somehow got transferred to them, "please help" they will help get you to the correct person.

I think you can use POJ method to call texas and talk to IO regarding this.
Just want to share this.
Friend of mine got welcome notice e-mail in 20th Nov and with in week he got the copy in the mail. But no card production e-mail or cards in the mail. He called the texas office and one IO told him that approval officer forget to put Class of Admission and that's why card production request is not going thru. They have sent an e-mail to concern department, but till now no news.

Neither of us get any updates with Card Production Ordered. But me and spouse got the cards in mail.
I saw there were couple more soft LUDs than my son's.

I was trying to contact this number and finally got response today.
The IO mentioned that they don't have the photos to generate the card and they are sending appointment letter to give his biometrics. And she told we will recieve the letter in 30 days.
She talked straight to the point and no nonsense words she used.
She just asked the reciept number and the reason.
Then she responded like this.
