Fellow EB1c filers:
This is just to track our progress and to know the estimated time frame to receive the magical CPO email. Please update if you have any additional info or for any missing/wrong info.
I wish all those 07 filers would received their approvals at any time from now.
Based on the available info, it looked like most of the cases who got their I-140 approval by Jan 09 got their I-485 approvals by this time (unless there was a need for FP or on RFE). The average time is between 1 to 2 months time from the date of I-140 approval at NSC.
Below are the pending cases (10) and would like to hear good news.

Here are the ineteresting points about all current applicants (I-485) whose priority date falls in the year 2008. As the processing dates got moved back and is generic to all the categories, it is more appropriate to look for other fellow filers in the line to judge how NSC will move on adjudicating these current cases towards their approvals.
There are total 60 members awaiting their I-485 approval. They are all filed in the year 2008, priority date current and I-140 approved.

Since all of us, 08 filers, need not go for second FP/Medical, almost all of us crossed 180 days (being an obstacle for Name Check), all the above group has fair chances to receive their 485 approvals at any time from now (for 07 filers, as they might require second FP/Medical/EVL etc.. due to their RD of 485 was more than a year).
Then, about the sequence of approvals, based on the recent trend, the approvals are based on 140 approval date. It is sometime between 15 days to 25 days from the date of 140 approval. We can strengthen this logic once we observe the next approval from our group :)

Last approval at NSC was 2/23 and the queue keeps growing. TSC had many approvals since. I am guessing arkkky and cloaked should receive good news this week.

This is an excellent thread. i dont"t know about the rest of you, but since I got 140 approval, I'm almost addicted to checking up on the web for any hints or clues as to when the 485 will be approved!!
This site tends to offer much better info than the USCIS site itself, so please keep it updated so we can trend approval times.

I am also EB1C - March 2008 I-485 Filed... My I-140 was approved in Feb 2008... Got RFE in Nov, replied back and since then no response.... Opened SR last week and got standard letter yesterday mentioning that your case is under review... Wait for another 60 - 90 days..

This is all our group coordination (team work) :)
Added new entries to the group. Removed the other categories as they are tracked under different thread and also sensed the trend. But, from all these categories, it appears that all the Jan 09 approvals (140) got their 485 adudicated (approved/RFE).
Regarding EB1C cases, they have approved (485) at least 1 from the Feb 09 approvals (140) in the month of Feb itself. Now in the month of March, there are no approvals from this group. There are a lot from EB2 group. Expecting to see at least a couple of approvals in this week.
Total 15 are pending (12 from Feb 09 approval batch and 3 from Mar 09 approval batch)

OK. I got the details about your RFE from another thread. It was about your legal stay. Did you have too many entry/exit since you came over here? That could be delaying the back ground check. Usually, if there are several entry/exit, there is a possibility of getting delay. I wish you would get your approval ASAP. Good luck.

I have just one entry/exit after my filing..... I am not sure about FBI name check/FP etc as am in this country for long time, no negative records, not even traffice tickets.... So, kind of weird...

It is all about your entry/exit since you entered US and not just after filing your GC. Were you on the same non immigrant VISA since beginning? If not, the AO might have slide down some of your I-94 and that triggered the RFE (just a thought).

WE have our I 485 case EB1a at TSC. PD- March 07, 1485 filing date(RD) June 08. Do the processing dates apply to the Eb1a cases as well? So even if we have the visa numbers available do we need to wait for TSC to move processing dates to June 08?
Could anyone comment? Thank you in advance.

Usually TSC follow the pilot programme for concurrent files (approving both I-140 & I-485 at the same time if filed concurrently). Based on the trackitt data, almost all those 08 filers who got their I-140 approval also got their I-485 approval except one or two cases. Have your I-140 got approved? If so, there is no reason on your I-485 to be delyaed for approval. Have you had a chance to enquire at USCIS?

Yes.... that could be the case as I have a little bit tricky case... H1, then visit US on B1 and then L1-A.... It is the nature of the job...

Congratulations arky. No update from me. If the trend continues I'm close to next in line hopefully. No Soft LUDs on my 485. In fact the only SLUDs I've ever received were after my and my family's finger prints were recorded. My 140 went through without any hint that is was being processed.
This week would be particularly nice as the attorneys at work have just completed my Advanced Parole renewal application and it would be sweet if I didn't have to run down to Kinkos for pictures of the whole family.

It is really good news for all us. As we might not know about name check status, based on the above info as declared by USCIS, we can rest assure that all our name checks are completed (being the possible obstacle), means supposed to be no hurdles to get approved soon.

Another EB1B filer (Jan 08 filing, I-140 approved on Feb 12,2009) got a RFE today on I-485, proves a steady progress and they are around those cases of 10th Feb approvals..Hope we will hear good news from our group too!!

Per my knowledge, mostly all of those who got approved got their approval (and so a LUD) without any prior soft LUDs.

I raised a SR and got response from USCIS that they are actively processing the case and if I do not hear anything within four months, please contact them.
Is it general BS USCIS gives or shall I sit tight and pray everyday.

If you talk about a SR in general, yes, it is the standard response. But, as your priority date is current, taken into consideration of the other pending cases (at least from tackitt) near to your priority date ( very few), I also assume that your case is supposed to be with AO by this time. So, just keep on praying and wait for good news. For some of the cases close to yours, got RFE about EVL/FP/BC and got approvals after responding to them (not too long). Good luck.

even though my 140 got approved on the 23rd Feb - I am yet to get an official e mail from USCIS or any letter. My attorney also knows its been approved. Did anyone else get a letter etc?

Regarding I-140 petition approval, mine also got approved on the same date (02/23) as yours. On the same day, I did receive the CRIS email and within 5 days, our attorney received the I-797 approval notification/letter.

Being employer sponsored, I can only assume that the letter is being, or was, sent to our attorneys. They will then send me a copy. Its always nice to have something in hand.
