Hi Gurus

I am a healthcare professional and currently working with a private company on H1 since Oct 2008.The company pays me well and also is processing my greencard .The current scenario is they have applied to the DOL for labor clearance in jan09 after going thru the process of advertising .I will be applying thru EB2 category.lateli i have realised that i have been underpaid and my colleagues who are having their own business are making more than me.The following are a few question i would want experienced Gurus out here on the forum to answer and also will appreciate if i could interact with anyone who are in the same boat

1)Can i launch my own company and process my own H1 and Green card process.?If i cannot be the owner then what are the options. Can any of the family members be the owner?

2) Should i wait until the DOL clears my labor so that i could use the same PD/labor

3) I understand from earlier threads that i need to wait until i complete 180 days after i file I485

4) Is it wise to hold two H1's.One with the present company i work for and the other with my own company.

I would appreciate your valauble inputs

Thx
S

to Bobmarley:

you can't file H1/GC under your own company.
Although after your 485 pending for over 180 days, you can work for your own company.

to Bobmarley:

Being the owner of a private company, you cannot sponsor yourself. Other option is to use EB-5 (investor) category.
