why not becoming illegal?

I have a good going job, but god forbid if something happens, and if i loose job, i dont know why i would not go back to india (instead of struggling here in third world country.. YES, I CONSIDER AMERICA AS A THIRD W.C.) OR becoming an illegal here, if I still want to stay here?

does it make any sense to try to maintain your status and do all the h1b transfer jugglary? does this place deserve it?? i see illegals living much better care-free life than us, legal slaves.. rules are so strict, it just doesnt pay off that well to be legal and play by rules..

what do you think guys?

I definitely do not have the guts to go illegal. I can complain and vent all my anger, but I do not think breaking laws is going to take me anywhere. I will surely go back to India.

I do hope the law of Karma or the law of compensation works just for America as it works for individuals.

Main problem is illegals doesn't demand too much...but educated legal immigrants are demanding lot openly. This makes gov turn on us hard as it makes them feel bad comparing to all other people from other countries. Also, We are under radar for competing at high pay jobs already

just compare with Chinese, Mexicans, Philippians, Vietnamese etc... We are not going on to roads but still making voices loud.

Now it is turning bad on us rather for good..There was some thing gov is not liking on us or may be gov felt we are too demanding, Complaining here.

And about taking my eyes out, yeah sure, a midget should never ever try to do that otherwise for whole his life he will be known as Amigo with one leg, one arm and one eye, no one will hire to clean their toilets.

Simple rule, if it doesn't work out for you, either just leave or keep trying. Just chill out.

Becoming Illegal is not the solution to stay i US. If situation prevails to become illegal and if you are self respect then please go back to your home country. I agree home country may not have the oppurunity as we are having in US (both legal and illegal, here illegal means un-documented).

Regarding India and Indians, whomsoever came from India to US, has the plan to go back sooner or later. Exceptional are always there. There may people who don't want to go to India, mainly due to infrasturcture, safety, security and corruption in India. But India is the only country in the world, where Indian ( atleast 30 % age) wants to come back to India, this I hav not seen in any country. Other than Indian those people don't want to go back nor they have guts to go back. Atleast Indian can go back.

No disrespect to other country or people. We are human being and want to leave happy life.

Good luck to everybody and hope everybody wishes should be filled ASAP. I don't mind to be in last in queue for GC, happy to see atleast others get it.

It left country poor and undeveloped, More population. That is one of the factors people migrated out in search of better prospectus etc..

per czboy GDP list,

India is one of the biggest market and capable, It is is sleeping monster market that can beat so called great markets in the world. It takes time..When that occur..reverse migration will happens from west. I wish it should happen at least to teach lesson those criticize Indians.

In fact, If all this talent is used for it's self development, well Computerized(which is taking place now..)..it's own software market itself is lot bigger than many developed nations..

My point is not to criticize India, is to let you know people should respect each other even if you're from one of the best countries in the world,
not mention that your country-India although she has great history is still far behind the rest of the world. Please go review statistics and data from World Bank , you can learn more about India, China and Mexico.

By the way, hope you get your green card soon!
