I got a denial notice on my wife's application (on which I am dependent) saying I already have a permanent residenct status approved on 5/26/2009 (referencing my other 485 case - on which I am primary).
However, my 485 case still shows pending online status. I called customer service and am not getting a clear response. Anyone might have a clue as to what's going on?

You should be fine - they will approve one and deny the other. Looks like they approved your primary and denied the one as dependent. In the process they denied your wifes primary because she is already approved as dependent.

This is not possible because they cannot approve without PD being current. I am not sure when your application was approved. If it's before June then it's possible. Otherwise there must be some messup.

The approval date (5/26) mentioned is before retrogression (6/1). Also, my wife's case is still in progress it just that my application on her case got denied.
I tried applying for infopass but it says 'not available in your area'??

Its getting nicely wierder...i checked online status and now it says the 'card production ordered'. Well I'd know only when I see it in the mail..
