My name is Garcia,
Currently I'm trying to enlist in the United States Air Force, and since I have a restriction on my green card (R1), I'm not eligible to do so because they require the green card to be valid for more than 2 years. I'm 27 years old and I have to be enlisted by the time I reach 28 years of age in May of this year 2010.
I have been married with my wife a U.S Citizen for over 2 years and 1 year as a green card holder.
Anyone know of anything that can be done.

I am very surprised to hear this, and I suspect the USAF has exceeded its authority by discriminating against a conditional permanent resident. I suggest you get their refusal to hire you in writing and take legal action against them.
