I am married to an American citizen. I filed I-765 on Jan 4th along with other forms for changing status to permanent resident. I am considering expediating the work permit since not working is putting me in finiancial distress and also may potentially loose the job I have. (I was on OPT and working but have been married since and now the OPT is also expired so I cannot work) Does anyone know how long will it take for the work permit to arrive after putting in the expediate request? I am in dire need of assistance. If anyone has any info, please let me know. Thanks.

I submitted my I 485 AND I 765 based on marriage on Jan 13. I am hoping that I can get EAD some time in February.

Yes I did. I attached the job offer letter and my request for expedition letter with my I -765 form, which was filed concurrently with I-485 and I-130. So far I haven't heard anything back from them yet.
