How long after RFE received and Case resumed? Days or weeks, anyone?

Any idea how long does it take to get the EAD approved after USCIS receives the EAD? Will they process / approve it in days or weeks? Past experiences, anyone?

In my case, they (NSC) have received the evidence and status changed to "Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed".

Can someone share their past experiences on their RFEs?

Well this is my brother's case, and it went like this:

@ NSC

Received date: 04/09/08
Biometrics: 05/10/08
RFE notice: 06/06/08
RFE response sent: 07/15/08

Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

It's been that way ever since 07/16/08 and frustration is mighty high here!!! ARGH!!!

I referred to this forum: http://www.trackitt.com/discussion-forums/i485-...

Almost everyone has got a Soft LUD for the next 2 days after TCS/NSC received the evidence. But I haven't got any soft LUDs after the hard LUD that "Evidence received", which worries me...

And I am planning to take an infopass next week, if I don't see any progress for the rest of the week.

Hi dollarg,

We are in the same situation. I respondedto my RFE on June 4, and received 1 hard LUD and teo soft LUD's then I don't hear anything from them since. I can worry all day everyday but it won't help me a bit. It will will just hinder me from experiencing the nice things that life offers. I understand everything that you're feeling but we don't have any control over it. I hope and pray that we'll see the light pretty soon.

So, I will take a Infopass next week. Hope they give me the status of where I stand in the post-RFE queue...

Wow that was really quick after the RFE response. Congrats!!

I'm starting to get really concerned about my brother's case. There have been no LUD's whatsoever after the RFE response received. It says that they should respond within 60 days of the receipt of the response, but given that the RFE came nearly 70 days after receipt of the original application I didn't think it would take that long.

Do you guys think there's a reason to worry?
