Thank you. I will do that. It’s been 17 days now. It was approved so quick and status changed to card mailed. But now it feels like eternity.

Hi, I was searching for H1-->H4 Ead with Future Date , and found your comment
So, just want to confirm

I am on H1 ( till July 9, 2018 validity )

My Spouse has H1 (till Aug 2018 validity ) , -- I140 Approved for my Spouse --- We are Filing H1 Extension for my Spouse

Can I ( my h1 valid till July--ignore my H1 ) File H1 --> H4 with Future start Date of H4 and also H4 EAD with Future Date?

So, I want to move to H4 (from h1) and H4EAD. : CAN H4 COS be done future dated i.e. effective date as July 1 ?

Yes, you can apply H1 to H4 COS with a future effective date. Your lawyer should know this in form I-539 have a field which allows you to put the future effective date, so you can mention July 1st. Your H4 EAD also effective from the same date as H4 effective date.

Note - make sure your spouse lawyer should apply all three application (H1 ext + H1->H4COS+ H4EAD) in one packet under premium processing. Although there is no guarantee from USCIS that they will execute all three in 15 days, but 99% they approve all three applications in one shot.

If your spouse employer does not agree to pay Premium process fee then better to pay yourself because then only you will get your EAD well before the time.
