Hello
I have a question and hopefully someone that has been in the same situation can answer.

I applied for OPT last january 11,2018. It was received on the 16 and it is still pending.
I filled out the paper and provided copy of my passport as requested. My passport is expiring in june 2018 and I applied with that one which is less than 6 months validity.

After applying, I did go to my consulate to get a new passport that has been ready to be picked up since February 20. I still have not gone to pick it up as they will cancel my current passport that I used for this application.

Anyways, my question is HAS ANYONE APPLY FOR AN INITIAL OPT WITH A PASSPORT EXPIRING LESS THAN 6 MONTHS AND STILL GOT GRANTED THE OPT.

I m super afraid that this will cause some issue. I did not see anything written about it on the instruction of the I-765, i think it only say VALID but doesn t not precise anything about the lenght of validity for example
