Let's start this thread to discuss & track EAD approval for JULY/AUGUST Filer(s).
App Sent to NSC on July 20th'...
Rcvd at NSC on July 23rd'...
Got Reciept # from TSC on Oct 27th'...(No Paper Copy of receipt yet...!!!)
Usually how much time it takes to receive actually paper receipt once case has been data entered.
No Update on EAD approval OR card.
Is thier any trand for EAD approval.
Usually how much time it takes to get EAD appproval/card after getting receipt#.

Filed I485/I-131/I765 at NSC on Aug 16th.
Notice Date for all : Oct 12th.
No EAD,FP,AP.
LUD on 10/16 for all.
Called NSC for update and the IO was very friendly and said that they released FP today and asked me to wait for a week, if I dont get it in a week asked me to call back.
For EAD She said "we recieved a lot of applications in this category. We also called other service center IO's to process and adjecate these applications with in 90days limit. wait for two weeks"

me too waiting for EAD approval....i filed for EAD(I-765) on 23rd july(e-filing)...received receipt notice by mail in 5 days...got my biometrics done on 10th august...bt hav not heard anything frm them since then....went for infopass after my 90 days were up....they asked me to wait for another 2-3 weeks...bt no luck so far....

July 2nd filer, did an infopass today.. (what a waste of time) The lady simply said, its pending. I requested her to send an email or some query on the case. She said they don't do that. 90 day rule seemed like bulls.... It depends what kind of officer you get on infopass, mine was a turd.

I actually e-filed, and never submitted my copies, as the mentioned that you should submit it only when requested to do so?
Did i do a mistake by waiting for their mail? Or is this the part of a regular process?
They confirm to recieve the documents on 31st oct. How much time more should it take?

Ah...when you do e-filing, you should have sent it within 7 days and never had to wait for their letter. Anyway, what's done is done.
How much time? That's a 65,000 dollar question nowadays....you should get within 90 days though.

Count me in - Filed Aug. 13 TSC - got receipt notice from NSC - rd Aug. 16, nd Oct. 9. Husband's (he's the primary applicant) status shows card prod. ordered on Oct. 30. No LUD on mine - case recd. and pending.
Do you guys think I should call them and ask why mine is not touched? Will that somehow flag it and trigger any action?

Filed I485/I765 at TSC on June 13th.
Notice Date for all : July 3rd.
Wife (primary applicant) and son got EAD. Not me (H1B)! FP done.
Called USCIS twice, they talk nicely, nothing happens. Had been to INFOPASS appointment, waste of time! I think, they lost my paperwork???
waiting for EAD .. status .. case received and pending.. over 120 days now !

Receipt date Aug 9th; notice date october 15th - CRIS still shows as invalid receipt number - called INS and confirmed that receipt number is ok - still waiting.......H1 expiring coming monday......

No EAD yet for spouse. There was an LUD on the EAD(Change of address) on 10/12. Nothing after that. We have received FP notices. Primary applicant did not apply for EAD.
What are our options now? I know it is not yet 90 days but it is getting to be very close to that. It really sucks for July filers.

Please update if any of you opened a SR(Service Request) for Fingerprinting.
From going through the other forums, I guess one can open a SR if it has been more than 30 days since you received the receipt for I-485.
I received the receipt on Oct 3 and so I'm thinking of calling the USCIS on monday Nov 5 and will try to open a SR.
Please follow the following sequence to call USCIS and open a SR for FP.
Call 1-800-375-5283
Press 1 for English
Press 2
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1
Enrter the Receipt number including WAC or LIN or SRC.
Press 1 to confirm
listen to the status
Press 3
Press 4
