Hi Friends,
My I-485 was filed with Company-A, and a year later i was focibly to moved vendor (Company-B, who filed for H1 and i was continuing on H1 status, I have filed AC-21 with the company-B). At the client i was working on i got laid off and the company-B informed that my employment will be terminated and my H1-B will be cancelled. Since I have EAD is there a time limit to find a new employer in order to stay lawfully in the US as I am yet to get a project?
Your response/answer is highly appreciated.
-Thanks,
sraju.

to sraju:
apply for a h1b in premimum as soon as you get the job.Check if ur previous company has not terminated the h1b and join them back in case.
reapply ac21 to a company incase. Or you apply for h1 now and submit client letter when u get a rfc expecting by then u get a job.
ask company b not to terminate h1b if it is expiring sooner or ask them grace period like 2 months.
Lessons learned for few dollars never switch to vendors, but stick where u are...its the gc that matters!
cheers!

Thanks Nestam.
The company already submitted for H1b cancellation, and they do not want to take liability when i am not into job. Probably i have to find another job and look for new employer and file AC-21.
