| No response from Ombudsman's office by 45 days deadline |

My response arrived super fast (10-14days), I was impressed to even see the new Ombudsman's signatures (yes it was not a stamp, as the ball point pen impression existed ;-)
until I opened the mail and it stated that my case is progressing normally as it is outside the normal (receipt notice date) processing window(I-485 filed June2007). It was almost like requesting me not to disturb them for the next decade!
I actually submitted via email first and attached its copy to the paper submission later - and that may be the reason for the fast response. |
