| South indian name with initial & Mother's name not present on BC - did anybody face problem ? |

1) My name on the birth certificate and all school and college records contain an intial followed by first name ( which expands into my father's name as per some south indian rules). The intial is an expanded form only on the passport , due to the legal requirments.
Did anyone face any RFE due to this reason ?
2) I have got a RFE on my birth certificate because my mother's name is not mentioned on it ! I donot have any certifcate or document which contains name of both parents and my DOB.
The hospital discharge document after my birth contains my mother's name and my DOB only ! My name and father's name are not there ! Is Ration card issued in 2002 a valid document ? I have one with my parents and my name, but again the age mentioned there is wrong.
I will appreciate any help or advice. |
