By the way today was my appointment date. I went to a local Application Support Center (ASC) in Chicago area, and they took the FP. They did not even ask whether I have the invitation for their center or some other center (ASC). I know that the system is centralized as I saw that the moment they entered the application receipt number, all related data (name, alien number, dob etc.) popped up on the panel. So, I believe that I am fine, and they will issue the card - as well as I followed their instruction to appear at an ASC, and give FP. |
