| Planning to visit India on travel docs (AP)-please advice |

Hi,
My I-485 is pending, got my EAD and travel docs (AP). My husband and I are planning to visit India in Jan -08. Can we both (me and husband) use our travel docs? We both don't have the visa stamped? I have H1B valid until Dec-08. My husband is in 7th year of H1B but he has his H1B petition until Dec-2010 (he got 3 yrs extension based on his labor and I-140). Is it advisable to not to stamp our H1Bs and just travel on the travel documents? What else do we require for traveling on travel documents?
