Discuss I-485 case
msam - How do you get USCIS Receipt Date but no Notice Date? Are you going by the FedEx or USPS delivery record? ---QSS
My lawyer received the receipts. I did not know that there were two dates. I just asked him for the receipt date and the receipt #. He gave that information. I will have to find out the other date.
Hi msam,
Do you see any LUD after getting the FP notice (other than 5/22/07) ? Hi msam - When did you get the FP notice?
Sorry, did not see your comment till now. I got FP notice on June 18th.
Hi msam - How long did it take for EAD card to be delivered into your mailbox after the EAD Card ordered LUD/Notification? Was it a few days, 2-3 weeks or the full 30 days that the notification email references? --QSS
msam - Sorry. I just looked at the details of your case. It hasn't been a very long time since your EAD and AP were approved. I guess the appropriate question should be "Have you already received your Card and AP document?" -QSS
queserasera, I received my card and the AP document within a week. Actually, the EAD card came directly to my house. The EAD Approval notice and the AP document went to my lawyer and he sent it to me.
msam - Looks like you had two successive LUDs in the last couple of days!!! I have a feeling that something is cooking in your case. Wish you good luck. --qss
queserasera, thanks. I hope so too. **fingers crossed**. Good luck to you as well.
congRATS...
Thanks Permorreg. Good luck...
Msam
Congrats on ur approval ..You may also change the profile for Nationality from India to Malaysia (as ur case has been considered under Malaysia quota of visas and not under India whilst approving the GC) .. Thanks vkrb32. Even though I may have been considered under the Malaysia quota, my nationality is India. Also, since my application is under EB2, (even if it was considered under India) as per the September Bulletin, my PD is current and visa numbers are NOT unavailable.
Cool msam ..Good Luck with ur wife GC approval ..since u r the primary applicant , hers shud be fine too
msam - Congratulations. Keeping your fingers crossed really worked for you. Most of us have kept it crossed for so long now, that I fear that we may never be able to uncross them again!!! (just kidding). Now it is time for you to enjoy. -qss
Thanks, queserasera. After waiting for the first stage to clear for 5 years, I had almost forgotten the GC process. But, now things have gotten done in about 6 months. So, I guess this means - never lose hope. Good luck and don't forget I am still in the queue (for my wife).
