I-765 Processing Times by Filing Date
The graph above shows approval times based on the date on which I-765 was filed. For example, if the Y-axis shows 50 days for Aug '06, it means that I-765 applications filed in August 2006 took an average 50 days to be approved from the date the I-765 applications were filed. The black line represents the average number of days it took for applications to be approved for a given month, and the gray line represents the number of applications that were approved for that month.

It would be nice to have a separate set of graphs for average response time for application types:
New Application & Renewals.

When a user is watching another user's case, he/she gets an automated email if the entry is modified or a comment is added. In regards to comments, watcher will get email for each separate comment added and if in a day one doesn't get a chance to visit trackitt he or she may accumulate 10-20 emails for just back and forth comments from an active user profile.

Perhaps having a system where user will get an email for the first new comment added and no further email for comments added for that particular case until user clicks that link and view the comments. This click will result in resetting and a new email for new comments added from then onward.

Excellent feedback. We have made a note of it. Thanks.

EB1EA, we have now made the change you requested. When a user is watching a case or a comment is added to a case that the user is watching, he gets an email. After that, the user does not get any further email updates until the user has clicked on the link in the email. Same for discussion forums where users have a chance to subscribe to discussion threads.

I think people is getting confused with the receipt date (the actuall date shown on the receipt) and the date in which they received the receipt, which they are entering, that is why peolple shows getting aproval in 10 days when they actually applied back in june or july, it would be a good idea to add another column showing mailing date.

We already have the mailing date in the I-140 and I-485 trackers. We'll add it to I-765 and I-131 trackers as well. Thanks.

It would be better if USCIS Receipt date is changed to USCIS Received date.....so that it will be clear for everyone.

Yes the people are getting confused it should be received date... Not receipt date
Posted by trackitt on 05 Oct 2007
We have already changed the terminology to "Received Date" on this site. If you see Receipt Date anywhere, let us know.

IF we can have a trend based on each service center, it will make the job easier. I would like to commend the efforts of trackitt here.

I have question regarding the Graphs, should'nt both the above graphs "nebraska processing times by approved date and filed date" grey lines indicate the same data. that is the number of applications approved in that month.

But they show different data?

hey how about seperating 2 types of application, paper-based & e-filing??

That would help prospective people to go file by the type which gives statistically better results.
