I just read the canadavisa.com, IMM5669E had an updated format and that was not mentioned in CIC website, spoke to cic call centre agent and she confirmed that its not an issue... hope it will not be returned..

No my parents never been in Canada. They don't have any Canadian visa.They are in India.

All the very best. As per inf available on the web, CIC is still processing the cases upto Jan 2014. The moment the backlog is cleared, you can expect the good news of family re-union
