Finally heard something. Our file was transferred to Detroit May 12th...Any word on yours? Looks like we are now about 2 weeks apart....

Just read on the immigration forum you're having some issues with your medical. We just got a letter today from immigration not sure if it was Ottawa or Buffalo, they rec;d the medicals but alas the xray. We figured there would be something upwith that. My husband got checked out by our doc and turns out it was some kind of fungal infection. So we have to bring a letter to the DMP and have him open it and read it. So looks like things will be delayed a bit. I also read that your Visa has been approved?? How wonderful is that?? Good luck...

Congats on the PPR. We are having some issues with the xrays but I think things will move along shortly. Hopefully within the next month..I did get a letter for the PR fee ($490) which I already paid??!! not sure whats up with that as I paid all the fees up front.

Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you. I just have to send the kids birth certificates and proof that I am returning to Canada with my husband and we should be good to go. How soon are you leaving for Nova Scotia? Good Luck...

Congrats on the quick approval. Which local consulate processed your application? Ours was sent to Detroit and I'm guessing there are faster consulates out there.
