Hi deeprpatel,

Just let me know whether CHC asked original docs (exp letter, offer letter, ref letter) and have you sent originals to CHC? If yes pls let me know which originals you have sent .

Dear Both,

They did ask for original documents of work experience from the various employers.

------------

One comment to add for all, in case you have not been asked in the supplement documents to file an updated Police Certificate, please go and get one done now as they may revert later asking for an updated police Certificate and rather than spending time then, have it ready as it is valid for 6 months.

cheers,
hardrock

Dear Hardrock,

I got my PCC on 27th May 2008. I have submitted the PCC alongwith the documents on 05th August 2008. Will I need to get the PCC done again? My PCC is valid till 27th November 2008. I believe that after submission of the documents, they reply within 75-90 days.

Kindly view my details also.

I have sent my updated information on 17th June,2008. Still no reply. It is almost 4.5 months. When can we expect any correspondence from embassy.

In trackit there are cases where after sending updated information it takes at the most 5 months after which medical is recieved.

Kindly let me know on urgent basis. Also if anyone aware please let me know when can I expect medicals.

For information I have filed on my own in June,2003. If anyone filed through agent kindly ask them any revert back on my query regarding how much time it takes after sending updated information ? Also is there any way to contact embassy and ask them. Kindly revert and be in touch if u get any correspondence from embassy.

Thanks.

Dear Jeel2008,

two of my friends had applied through an agent. They had been asked to resubmit fresh passports of their child after 3.5 months of doc submission. Thereafter within a few weeks, they have got their medical call. Even I have been waiting since 3 months for my medical. Not come as yet. My agent says that it is expected in the third week of this month.

Deepak

26 Mar 2009 #32
not as yet. they are processing on a random basis. But WWICS says that they are processing files which were updated in Aug 2008. Actually nobody is sure how they are working. On an average, WWICS receives 4 medicals a day,
Posted by ff2398
02 Apr 2009 #33
Hi deeprpatel,

Thanks for the revert, my agent tells me the same, that files are being reviewed randomly, depends on the case officer...have u checked with WWICS on the details of the people receiving medicals, when did they apply etc...this will help in making some analysis on the working of CHC..
Posted by deeprpatel
02 Apr 2009 #34
I have observed that different staff of WWICS give different versions. The H.O. has sent a reminder on my behalf. The Mumbai office says that the reminder is not useful as CHC just sends a standard reply. When I asked for a copy of the reminder, I was told that communication between WWICS & CHC is supposed to be confidential.

Last time when I spoke to H.O. I was told that some days they receive upto 15 medicals & some days about 4 medicals. The H.O. considers the Application filed period whereas the Mumbai office consieders the period of updated docs. I feel that WWICS are themselves confused. If they make a proper statistics with the records that they have, they should share it with the clients. But they do not seem to be interested.

You will be able to make some analysis, based on the Trackitt site.
Posted by ff2398
02 Apr 2009 #35
The info on trackitt is very limited, I believe only some %age has put their details on this, if WWICS claims to receive 15 meds per day than the queue should get over asap...hopefully. the agents are absolutely clueless an don't wish to share any info.

Also does anyone have any clue, why is CHC calling for updated docs and piling up this queue, there should have been some methodology, it seems they have collected docs of applicants upto Mar'05 and they have not reverted (medicals )to applicants who have submitted docs around Aug'04...any views on this?

My status shows the same - In Process. The H.O. of WWICS @ Chandigarh has still not sent the medical docs. I was told that their collection dept has now cleared my file for sending the medical docs to me (no dues to be paid to WWICS). It takes 2 days to reach Mumbai. Secondly they will be sending the docs to their Mumbai branch. Well, a total frustrating exerience.

@ Frainy Palia, Bhulabhai desai rd. Just take an appointment & go. They will do your blood & urine test, x ray & body check up. In the body chek up, they will ask you about your medical history - Diseases like jaundice, typhoid. Pl do not disclose if you haven't had these in the last 5 years. Like fools we disclosed that we had these diseases before 12 - 15 years & they made us do extra stool & blood tests. The stool had to be given on 3 consequitve days thereby incurring extra expenditure of Rs 2000 & delay of a week.

Through speedpost with an AD attached. Post office now has a tracking facility online. The AD has not come back as yet. I had sent the passports on 20.04.09, but online it shows that it was delivered on 22.04.09. My friend sent his passports through Blue Dart. Their condition was that they can only take 3 passports in one courier. As he had 7 PP to send, he had to send it in 3 separate couriers. As I had doubts as to how the different couriers will be filed at CHC, I preferred speedpost. It was also cheaper - Rs 90/-. Blue dart I believe charged Rs 220 per courier.
Secondly you before making the DD for the landing fees discuss with the bank manager that you need to know as to when the DD is encashed. I believe only the manager is authorized to check this.
Ajit, you can contact me anytime. 9821375886 / [email protected] You stay in Malad, right? I stay @ Asha Nagar, Kandivali.
