nice to be here, just goes to show I don't know everything. I'd never heard of this site until you mentioned it. Its pretty informative isn't it. I like the timeline pages far easier than looking at similar on expats as posts. So, I'm now watching people for nov and dec 06, think there is only one in jan 07 then its me and a couple more in feb later.
See you around Tracey

Don't worry you hadn't been forgotten...the AOR date is irrelevant as they are going by date of application. So they should start on the Feb's in the next few weeks!!! Really don't want to burst the bubble but everyone's say's 'in process' and they never regularly update it...it'll say that till you land. But you are sooooo near getting that 90 day letter that that's worth celebrating big time......Happy Anniversary too!!!!!

i am so excited for what will happen next, i think our turn will be soon ,i guess in the second week of march,
i started already to collect my documents .
but i am only worried for my 5 points of bonus,my uncle is not in canada any more as he moved to the usa, so i wonder what to do without his 5 points, my score will be 67 if i get the 16 points for the ielts.but are they going to accept my application if i mentioned in my principle application that i have relatives in canada, and then not to submit any document for my relationship with him?
wish all of you all the luck,
best regards

Hey Tracey, thanks for that but i knew it goes by appl'n date as you told me so back in Nov and accessing our info on CIC is the very first time we've been able to do this as previous attempts have always failed. There are 4 or 5 before me who now have their 90 day letters, prompting my post. Thanks for tellin us that they only state this thou' all way thro' process, you'd ave thought they would update each time something changed or they communicated. Can't wait for Monday's post or Tuesdays or Weds or Thurs better not be Fri's or that'll be toooooo loooong.

Hey Pebble, thanks for the congrats and did you find anything out on cic website??

Hey mh9999, yeah good luck hope you hear soon. Don't know what IELTS is sorry, but yeah you need to makesure you are going to get the points if you are not here on a permit. When you update your details you'll tell them that you have no relatives here unfortunately if it had points for an uncle then you need them from another catagory, good luck with that.

Best wishes to all

Hi Sadshirt. Looked on the website and mine said "In Process" too but it also said it had been in process since June 07, so I don't think that means anything. So we are back to Postie-watch! I don't think it will be to long for us next lot now though

03 Mar 2009 #16
Hi Pebble, yes ours said 'in process since 15 May 07' which is in fact the AOR date and considering that every time we've tried to access our case on CIC website it always didn't recognise the file # or our client #'s, this is why we are a little excited. Mon and Tues post gone by and nowt fer us yet, hope it comes Weds as that will be 1 week from the date the Jan appl'n peeps got their letters

I wouldn't panic just yet....they seem to have slowed up a bit but I reckon the 90 day letter will arrive soon. Sometimes TWP's letters seem to arrive a bit later (Jayne1's process is slow and may be due to them aready being out there...but its just a thought!!)

Hiya mate, nice to hear from you. I'm ok with the 120 day letter...we have till Nov 17 to send it all off and we get to land in July just as we wanted! Hubby is way more excited than me if thats possible. Busy decluttering the house this week. Flying out in October to look at houses in Barrie that my friend and the realtor have lined up. Pretty sure your meds will arrive soon. How's the new house?
I haven't joined the new site, have you? I see Pete's had a gorgeous baby boy...really pleased for them. You still on BE? Might PM you if a get a minute lol!
All the best

letter post date was 11th Nov, received 16th Nov, meds done on 20th Nov, RoPR fee sent 21st Nov, RoPR received by CHC 26th Nov.
Meds - we used Dr Terry Kawchuck in Halifax, meds cost $120 each, bloods and Xrays cost $87 although youngest was $55 as only xray and eldest has tattoo so he cost extra $25 for blood. Started at 11am filled out forms, one each. Had meds, everyone ok except me, got high blood pressure now. Went to the Victoria hospital for the tests and then back to Dr with confirmation all done. I decided to start on medication to get the pressure down as he advised. Immigration have no grey areas so you have to be within the limits of 140 over 90, if not and the resultsa are sent then Imm will request you see a Cardiovascologist, no way you see one of those in days more like a year. Anyway been on tabs for week now and its come way down so fingers crossed in next couple days its okeedokee and results will gone to Imm. As we are here in Canada they go to Ottawa, they assess and email result to CHC in london. Then if all ok next letter will be passport request. All this should take less than a week apparently.
Thats all folks

Hi there all, ive just had my blood pressure checked and have come in below the limits so the meds will be sent on friday to Ottawa, hopefully all will be fine, don't want anything else to hold it up. I must say if anyone is needing a medical here in Halifax/nova scotia then pick Dr Kawchuk from the list, he and his secretary have been absolutely marvellous.

Hi All, we were getting worried, hadn't heard from CHC, rang Dr's to make sure they did send meds off, which they did and were received in CHC 4th Feb 10. Emailed them as OH and son passports due for renewal in July and our permits are up for renewal too, hadn't even contemplated having to apply for extensions. Anyways they replied saying all was good except for the updated history on my OH, we sent this way back on 23rd Nov 09 along with the RoPR fee, what had happened? who knows. I sent response and attached history doc, it was accepted and they requested passports, whoooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooo. Had photos done at weekend ($16 for 2 at Walmart) and sent all docs and passports yesterday via UPS, another $60. Another wait!!!!
A word of note, the photos are a smaller size than original application and you don't use ball point pen to write on back, so be careful.

Best wishes to all in the merry journey to Canada

Hi Everyone, just an update. yesterday CIC updated our status online to 'decision made'. as they already have our passports we think possibly means they are on way back to us, fingers n toes crossed. When they requested passports on 26th April the online status wasn't updated, when they received them it still wasn't, they had a letter wrong in my middle name all the time until last week, when they finally corrected it, an good omen hopefully.
Regards
