Thanks I hope the entire process is that quick. give them some time. Moreso, the AOR stated that before my application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether ornot I am eligible for processing.

I hope this is just a formality because Sydney had given me a go ahead previously and my occupation is in the ministerial occupation list.

I Think its just a formality Jydo. Did you send all documents including your pcc yet? That would expedite your processing I guess.

Thanks,
Do you get it from Sidney's office or Buffalo?

01 May 2009 #12
Hi Jerry2121,
When the documents was requested, do they request specific documents or they request all documents listed in the check list?
Posted by Jerry2121
01 May 2009 #13
They will request ALL documents listed in the check list. Also, you get AOR from Buffalo but you get a reference number from Sidney, this reference number gets replaced with AOR and a New correncepondence number from Buffalo which you will be using till the end of your Visa approval when you contact Buffalo.

Thanks

Looks like nobody has an idea of that..time to medical after AOR from Buffalo????
People in previously busy consulates, even New delhi, are getting medicals within 2-3 months of AOR if you are in new process. But I think Buffalo will be one of the slow consulate from now on under new process.
They allotted new resources to previously busy consulates and left out Buffalo because they thought things are okay here...my guess

Hi,

I am watching your case, I was hoping you could do me a favor. Your last status update was in early December 2009.
Could you please update your status to indicate if: you have had any supplemental document requests, file transfered to a different office or Ecas upate to processing.

Thanks

I sent one last year. This is the second time they are asking for it. It taks about 8 - 10 weeks for it to arrive. Imagine, its the only document I am waiting for now. I hope it arrives by the time Ottawa finishes with my medical.

jydo, i was reading some discussions on getting the medicals done before the forms arrive in mail, are there any forms in particular that i need to fill out when i go to the DMP? what did you do? also, i live right in between two states and the nearest DMP is in the other state, can i go to any DMP mentioned in CIC although they are not in the state where i live? any additional information will be highly appreciated!

I am not sure how that works (medicals before its been requested). A form came in the mail and I took it to the DMP. The other forms where given to me by the DMP which I filled there in his office. The form that will be sent you is form IMM1017: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1017SCLE.pdf

The form you will fill at the DMP, form IMM 5419: http://www.numberonehealth.co.uk/dynamicdata/file/CanadianMedicalReportForms.pdf

I am not sure if you can prefill the form IMM 5419.

Where you decide to do your medical does not matter. I am in West Virginia I did my Medical in Ohio. My Friend lives in New Hamsphire he did is medicals in New York. I guess what matters is that you have to do the medical tests at the DMP recommended by the Canadian authorities. You may also do it with any other medical practioner as long as you get permission from Canadian Immigration. I think that is more complex. Just drive to any recommended DMP regardless of the location and get it done.

When you call to make your appointment, ask the DMP what you need to bring along.

Goodluck

Thanks for the detailed information, I just called a DMP and they basically told me I need the form sent by the immigration office before they can schedule an appointment for medicals and they filled me in on other things I need to bring. I think i'd play safe and wait for the forms to arrive and then go from there. Once again, thanks for the extra effort!

They asked me to submit IRS Wage and Income Transcript and paystubs. I am waiting for the IRS documents to come in this week. I dont know what they need the documents for. Every other thing is in place and ok. They confirmed that they received my medicals and updated FBI clearance.

Hi Jydo, don't worry, as soon they get the requested info, they will request for your passport 'cause i've seen such here on trackitt. What and what did they request at the medical my brother?
Posted by ricky120
20 Apr 2010 #42
Were these requested together with the medicals and FBI report or the request came recently after you had sent in your medicals and the FBI report? Thanks.

21 Apr 2010 #43
They simply sent me a medical form and asked that i submit some other documents to prove current employment like paystub, w-2, irs wage and income transcript, and updated FBI. I submited everything except the irs wage and income transcript and paystus because i did not have copies of my paystub and I had no clue what the irs wage and income transcript was. I thought the w-2 was a strong enough document by itself. They sent me another email requesting that I submit the outstanding documents.

Jydo,

The IRS wage and income transcripts is a report that shows your income has been reported to the IRS (you file taxes every year to report your income to the IRS and pay taxes from your salary) and this basically verifies proof of income and your employment. Look at it like the caips notes if you will, it contains all the federal income taxes your have paid to date but not the state and local tax. It will have yours as well as your employers' information on it.
I think you can get information for upto past 10 years but I am not sure, check the IRS site. I think it is free of charge and you can get it within 2 weeks or so. You can call the IRS number and ask how to get one of these. I hope this helps. Good luck and please keep us posted.

thanks. I eventually found out what it is. I have ordered it and am waiting for its arrival.

What i dont understand is why i was asked to submit it. I have 9 years of experience from Nigeria. I only worked for a year here during my OPT which was last year. The two years before that I was working on campus during my study as a Graduate Assistant and they paid stipends. The jobs I did here in the U.S. I did not claim on my application.

When they asked for update on current employment, i told them I did a job for a year and am not claiming any points for the job.

Still waiting to understand the reason for demanding the IRS document. The VO asked for 5 years documents. Most of the IRS infomation are blank since I have not been working for 5 years here. It only shows the two years for my GA.

I think you should include a letter explaining all that. I didn't send my employers' reference letter with my full application to Buffalo but sent in a letter explaining everything and included every pertinent document that helped in proving I have a valid employment/experience in the specified NOC. I have never received any additional requests regarding this from the visa office, I only received request for medical, rprf and updated FBI reports. But it is totally up to you...Thanks!

Hi Jydo,

do you still need to send any documents to Detroit Consulate?. If no, when was the last document sent to them.

I am expecting you to be the first one to get Passport request in the Detroit batch.

I saw some where in the forum that LA consulate asked passport after 4~5 weeks of Medical submission

Hi Jydo,

I just received PPR email from Detroit.

I am thinking of sending a USPS Express Mail prepaid envelop (for my passport return), and write my address on it with pen.

Is there anything else I should do? Do I need to print mailing labels?

Thanks,
