Dear Muslim,

Since iam living in Saudia, i have sent copies of my documents as per CIC request, the only originals i have submitted are IELTS and the Police Clearance Certificate from Yemen.

In Yemen, From what i know that there is no designated notary public or a commissioner of oaths to serve the public, but in your case if you have any documents that are in Arabic, you will need first to Translate them from Authorized Translator then attest them from Ministry of Foriegn Affairs in Yemen.

If you want to make Affidavits (inside Yemen ) you will need to do the same as well, beside that i think you will need a lawyer to attest them as well.

Dear Al-Soufi,

Thank you very much for the inputs. I really appreciate your time:) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs refused to attest translations! they certified copies of originals though. As per CIC requirements, we must submit affidavits but translators are not Ministry of Justice certified - the case of other countries! Some are UNESCO-certified, and I have no clue if that can be of a probable substitute to affidavits! I will be looking for a lawyer for a back up. I am hoping things will go right as far as certification is concerned, else is fine:)

Eid Mubarak to you and your family:)

our time line for medical is almost the same

if you receive PPR , how can you send it to London ,because the express mail ( DHL , FEDEX ) are not working these days in Yemen

Dear Dr. Hussin,

I am not sure if courier companies are still out of operation here nor all their services are banned. Nonetheless, there are still other options:

1- Yemen Post Express Services. Quite good with a tracking # as well.
2- Travel to London on a tourist visa to hand it in person (pending UK visa issuance).
3- Authorization for someone else (a relative etc) to deliver it on behalf of you.

There are still some other freight companies in operation, ARAMEX, SKYNET etc. they might offer a parcel service to london via a neighboring country, say Jordan or egypt...

In two months time, hopefully courier services will be full fledged.

cheers

dear Muslim2009

thank you for your response

2 days ago i contact with DHL and they said that the service open to some countries (Egypt , Jordan ,,) but not to USA or UK
also i contact with Yemen Post Express Services EMS , also they say that there service is not available now to UK

traveling to London on a tourist visa is not an option for me , beside I think it will take long time to get tourist visa to UK

I have some relatives in KSA

when PR came , can i send passports to them , and they will send it to UK?
if yeas , should i authorization them by writing paper or by what ?
is it allowed to send Passport from KSA without passport Owner to be available in KSA?
should i inform London V.O that i send the PP from KSA ?

thank you brother

note;- DHL promes that there will be a good news in the begining of the new year

good luck for all
